Notes: Rei is really different. She doesn't talk a lot at all, and she's not used to just being a kid, and she hardly ever knows when she's being funny. Plus, when we first spoke, she told me that climbing a ladder would help me build character by teaching me how to climb a ladder. She was dead serious. I have no idea how she became my best friend here, but she is. She's a great listener, which helps. Mostly, though, she's supportive. We don't always understand each other and she can't always tell when I'm upset, but she's there for me, you know?
